The Dauntless Elite - More bloody Bad News (bombed out records)- Reviewed

After the success of their first full length album 'Graft' (also on bombed out records) The Dauntless Elite return with their follow up album ' More bloody bad news' .

The Dauntless elite hail from west yorkshire, in or around the Leeds/wakefield area.
They formed from the ashes of two awesome bands, Fig4.0 and joe ninety ( both also on bombed out records) and you can hear elements of both the bands in The Dauntless Elites first release.
Graft was a whitty and very northern mid paced melodic gruff record and Not a lot has drastically changed on 'more bloody bad news'.
The band continues to write some of the most northern whitty lyrics / song titles I have every heard and musically they seem to have tightened up and made a gruff sound unique to them.
I really like this band , and I love this album !
It's nice to see an established band continue in the same way and improve their sound rather than dicking about and changing stuff with every release until in the end it sounds like everything else out there .

So if you like your gruff mid paced punk then you should probably know who this band are and hopefully have bought it already , if not , go out and do so, besides if it's on bombed out records then you know it will be good anyway !
